By signing this on-line document, I am petitioning the executive management and board of directors of Sun Microsystems Inc. to refrain from selling the company or merging it with another company. Sun Microsystems Inc. is one of the last true innovative US based technology companies and it would be a tragedy for the industry to see this company disappear. We strongly believe that there are better alternatives that can bring about a stronger and healthier company that can weather these difficult economic times.
