Saving snails and protecting the public

Many people are desperate to save Giant African Land Snails from the cruelty they face at Brixton Markets, yet no one seems to be listening. Please sign this petition and get as many people as you can to sign it too - we need to be heard. These snails are kept in horrific conditions with barely any food, water or space and many of them are seriously ill - and these are being sold for food! Hopefully, with enough signatures, we will be able to stop this cruelty and perhaps even try to get them covered under animal welfare laws. The way these animals are kept is not safe for them, and most likely, not safe for humans either, so please, please sign!
