Spend Our Money on Societal Improvement

To:  President Obama and the United States Congress

We, the undersigned, believe that too many of our tax dollars are spent to fund the military and too few are spent to fund social programs. We wish to see our money used for social services, education, funding for the arts, environmental preservation, healthcare, infrastructure, and other projects which will improve our society. We ask you to create a budget which more accurately reflects the interests of the American people. We want our tax dollars to be used toward creation rather than destruction, toward love and respect rather than violence and aggression.
