Movie/TV/Video Content for Sony PSN (Playstation Network) Canada

This petition specifically involves the lack of Movie content on the PSN (Playstation Network) in Canada. Signing this petition indicates to Sony that Canadians want to be able to rent/see movie & tv content here in Canada; as it is widely available on Xbox 360's Xbox Live Network, but not on the Playstation Network, in Canada.

Since Canada is part of North America, and considered part of the same movie region on DVD's, blu-ray's, and video games, we should be able to enjoy the same movie/tv service as our American companions; who currently are enjoying the download service on the other side of the border.

The current situation is that Xbox Live has movie rentals/tv content available in both Canada and the U.S. Sony's Playstation Network has movie rentals/tv content in the U.S. but "not" in Canada.

Sony Playstation Network fans/customers must join together to say we think this situation is "not" acceptable. We stress that we understand studios/tv networks are to blame for copyright/royalty issues and we are encouraging them to get it worked out ASAP. Microsoft did it so surely SCEA (Sony Computer Entertainment of America) can. We also encourage Sony to see Canada as a viable market for this download service.
