Today,

I will speak for those who do not have a voice. I will measure my progress by the actions I take, even if I do not see its immediate effects. I am declaring that I care about the oppressed people not only in third-world countries, but also in my own nation.

Though no morals or political pressure bind me to keeping my oath, I will show my support to people whose self-expression is restricted, or who are persecuted because of their religion, ethnicity or gender. By respecting people who are different than myself, I promote tolerance in my society.

Furthermore, I support the above statements, and hope that you join me in my crusade for justice and human rights.
