Faith-based support of the RI Global Warming Solutions Act

We the undersigned members of the Rhode Island faith-based community call on the Rhode Island General Assembly to support S2629 / H7884, the Rhode Island Global Warming Solutions Act, because it will
· Empower us as a people to practice mindful stewardship of creation
· Make special provisions to protect the poor from the worst effects of global warming
· Reduce increases in the rates of asthma and a variety of insect-borne illnesses
· Cut greenhouse pollution in Rhode Island 20\% by 2020 and 80\% by 2050
