SSSD - SOS

To:  Governor

We, the undersigned, strongly object to all state budget proposals to cut funding to the Scranton State School for the Deaf, as well as the state’s plan to replace their program with another. SSSD’s program is unique in the state of PA. The Governor and the State Legislature need to preserve this valuable educational option for deaf children and their families in Pennsylvania by restoring adequate funding to SSSD.
