Royal Mail's stamp issuing policy |

Dear Mr Walker
Too Many Stamp Issues
We believe that you are issuing too many stamp issues each year and this is harming the stamp and first day cover collecting community.
You have already announced 15 titles for 2008. We can assume at least 4 or 5 miniature sheets on top of that.
That means already the figure is already close to 20 issues per year – and you may well add additional issues later on. This year, you added a Harry Potter stamp issue at the last minute, making a total of 3 stamp issues in just 1 month for July 2007.
On top of these come a multitude of extra products such as Smilers sheets and Prestige Booklets.
We believe it is time to stop. We ask you to reduce the number of stamps issued each year.
Sincerely,
