Save Hip Hop |
To: North American general publicAttention all citizens!
She was born in the 70's, some say the 80's. She reached her prime in 1994, and we all knew her by 1996. Some did not agree with some of the things she said, most did not agree with the way she said them. Anyone who truly listened to her knows her words were honorable and true. By the turn of the millenium, she fell in with the wrong crowd. She was making money, she was on TV, there were movies about her... but she lost her soul. She is still in the limelight and her condition is worsening. I want to listen to her but my eyes cannot bear to see what she has become. Only a serious breakthrough can turn her around.
Ladies and gentlemen, Hip Hop is dying. Please sign this petition, let MTV, BET, MuchMusic, the endless radio stations and magazines know that Hip Hop is ill. Not ill like Rakim or Biggie, not ill like Pete Rock or Nas. But ill like your dog when you took him for his last walk. Ill like your grandma when you gave her your last hug. Hip Hop needs your help.
Signing this petition, supporting your local Hip Hop scene, listening to the classics, freestyling with your crew WILL KEEP HIP HOP ALIVE
God BlessSincerely,
