As those with a financial and emotional stake in Virginia Tech football, we strongly encourage you to remove Bryan Stinespring from the offensive coordinator coaching position.

For years we have watched as great talent was undermined by poor coaching and play calling and this year shows no sign of change. Our offense has shown no creativity and Bryan Stinespring has proven that he is unable to recognize blatant trends and momentum during games. When something is working, he inexplicably changes the play calling. He has often shown that he lacks the ability to even run out the game clock.

Year after year, Bud Foster has shouldered the burden of making up for an inept offense under the leadership of Bryan Stinespring. Though your loyalty to the members of your staff has been admirable, Bryan Stinespring undermines the success and potential accomplishments of the Virginia Tech football program. Yes, there have been good teams over the years, but they have been so in spite of Bryan Stinespring, who has done more to lose games than win them.

We kindly and strongly urge you to make an overdue change at the offensive coordinator position.
