Stop Datak

To:  Iranian Ministry of ICT/Iranian Judicature/Iranian Union of ISPs

Datak Telecom Inc. (residing at http://datak-telecom.com) has suddenly limited our ADSL connection bandwidth to half of what we have paid for, according to our contract with the company, since almost 3 weeks ago. This leads to the 256Kb/s subscribers experiencing a peek of 150 Kb/s and 128Kb/s subscribers a peek of 80Kb/s, etc. Neither the technical support nor the customer care is taking any responsibility for such an apparent violence of the customers' agreement. Recently they have embarked on treating the angry customers very offensively by for example telling them: "The service is as-is, take it or leave it! [Hang-up]". We the undersigned appeal for the following measures to be taken by the concerned parties:
- We call the ministry of ICT who has the ultimate authority over the ISPs to stop this company from this obvious theft.
- We call the judicature to inspect this case and force the company to stop this misconduct and pay compensation to all the customers.
- We call the Iranian union of ISPs to inspect the case and ordain the corresponding penalties for this company.

شرکت داتک از حدود 3 هفته پیش، به طور ناگهانی و برخلاف قرارداد، پهنای باند مشترکان سرویس ای.دی.اس.ال را به حدود نصف کاهش داده است. برای مثال، کاربران سرویس 256 کیلوبیت بر ثانیه هرگز نمی توانند بیش از 150 کیلوبیت بر ثانیه ترافیک داشته باشند و این عدد در مورد سرویس های 128 کیلوبایت بر ثانیه 80 کیلوبیت بر ثانیه است. بخش های فنی و امورمشترکین این شرکت، در این زمینه پاسخگو نیستند و مشتریان معترض را با بهانه های نامرتبط سرگرم می کنند. اخیراً این رفتار گاه به پاسخ های بی ادبانه ای همچون: "همینی که هست، اگر نمی خواهید می توانید اشتراکتان را قطع کنید. مشتریان بسیار دیگری متقاضی استفاده از سرویس های ما هستند." تبدیل شده است.
ما امضاکنندگان زیر، خواستار انجام اقدامات زیر از سوی مراجع ذی ربط هستیم:
- از وزارت ارتباطات و فناوری اطلاعات که تفوق کاملی بر رفتار توزیع کنندگان اینترنت دارد، می خواهیم به این رفتار واکنش نشان دهد و سرقت آشکار پهنای باند مشترکان را متوقف کند.
- از قوه قضائیه می خواهیم با ارزیابی کارشناسی ادعای مشتریان، اقدام غیرقانونی این شرکت را متوقف کند و آن ها را به جبران خسارات مادی و معنوی وارد آمده بر مشترکان مجبور نماید.
-از اتحادیه صنفی توزیع کنندگان اینترنت می خواهیم با بررسی این موضوع، تدابیر تنبیهی لازم را در قبال این شرکت اتخاذ نماید.
