Penalties for street racing need to increase

Over the past 9 years people have lost their lives due to street racing in the Province of Ontario, however as you have seen, the penalty is not high enough as it continues. in May of 2000 a woman's life was taken due to a street racer, for which he served 9 months in jail? And yet it continues on city streets, cars racing at speeds of 140 km/h and greater. penalties need to increase in order for this to stop. How many more people do we need to lose before something is done?
