Gordon Strachan For Scotland

We, the undersigned, believe that the only man capable of lifting the Scottish national side out of the mire it currently finds itself in is Gordon Strachan.

We appreciate Berti Vogts' efforts but feel that unfortunately he has shown himself not to be the right man for the job.

We also realise that Strachan, with his outspoken - and frankly excellent - banter is not the sort of person that the traditionally conservative mandarins at the SFA would usually touch with a barge-pole, but feel that the time has come for them to show some courage and take a risk on the one manager who could rekindle the excitement and interest in the national team that has been missing now for a lengthy period.
