This is a petition for a name change for the football club 'Manchester United FC'. We believe that this football club is Misdescribing itself and should be renamed Greater Manchester Soccer Club or Stretford United Soccer Club as per its location. Clubs such as Bolton FC and Wigan FC do not claim to be from Manchester and neither should this Stretford club.

We would further like to ban this soccer club from using the word 'fans' to describe people who have never stepped foot inside Greater Manchester, instead referring them 'chasers'.
