We want Star Wars books in Italy

From 10 years, in Italy we have not more Star Wars novels. We only have a few novels published in 1999-2002-2005, connected to the new movies. When rights were given from Sperling to Fabbri, in Italy pubblications finished.

Two years ago, however Sperling gave us a hope, publishing the novel about Episode III, nothing happened. At ths moment, we haven't new Star Wars novels in Italy.
Italian fandom is still interested, especially now, when new characters, new stories and a new way of realism is the novels

With this petition, we want to ask to LucasFilm and to Italian Licensing Agency Daniele di Montezemolo e associati licensing srl, to do all the necessary about this problem. We hope they want to employ themselves about the return of Star Wars novels in Italy, published by Sperling - if still interested - or by any publisher.

Da quasi un decennio in Italia non vengono pių pubblicati i romanzi di Star Wars, eccezion fatta per le poche opere legate ai film in uscita negli anni 1999, 2002 e 2005: il passaggio dei diritti dalla Sperling alla Fabbri Editori ha di fatto sancito la fine delle pubblicazioni nel nostro paese.

Almeno fino a un paio d'anni fa, tuttavia, la Sperling aveva lasciato sperare, pubblicando il romanzo di Episodio III - La Vendetta dei Sith, di voler riprendere la pubblicazione in italiano di nuovi titoli, ma questo - per il momento - non č avvenuto; tuttavia l'interesse del fandom non č mai scemato, ancor di pių ora che, grazie a nuove storie, nuovi personaggi e soprattutto grazie a una corrente di realismo che ha pervaso gli scrittori americani, sono stati pubblicati prodotti sempre pių interessanti.

Con questa petizione, vogliamo chiedere alla LucasFilm e all'Agenzia di Licensing italiana Daniele di Montezemolo e associati licensing srl, che si occupino del ritorno in Italia dei libri di Star Wars, pubblicati Da Sperling - se ancora interessata - o da qualsiasi altra casa editrice.
