Save Michael's Tattoo |
To: FOX Network and Prison Break "Powers That Be"We, the undersigned, ranging from the casual viewer to the most dedicated Prison Break fan would like to ask you, FOX and Prison Break "Powers That Be" to reconsider the idea of Michael Scofield having his tattoo removed.
Regardless of the fact that the initial idea behind the tattoo has already served its original purpose on the show, we feel it would be a shame if Michael were to have it removed. Just the perpetuity of its presence on his body serves to remind him, and those around him, of the evils they had to battle and still endure in the name of a greater good, which is one of the basic premises of this show.
The list of reasons fans could give for wanting Michael to keep his tattoo is nearly endless, as it appeals in many different ways to different people, but we all agree on one thing: we want him to keep it, and we, the Prison Break fans, are not a bunch known to agree unanimously over anything, but for this we are united.
This tattoo is unique, it's a landmark, it gives the show a distinctive feel that makes it stand out from the crowd. We are aware of the costs, time and resources that are involved in applying a tattoo like this one but let the signatures on this petition state unequivocally that it is absolutely worth it.Sincerely,
