We, fans of True Blood, ask that the writers and producers bring back the character of Godric as portrayed so beautifully by Allan Hyde. It is our belief that a character such as his has much to add to the show as a balance between vampires and humans. Although we understand that Godric has met the sun, we would like to see more of him, for instance in flashbacks or dream sequences. Eric is in mourning and there are many things left for him to learn. Who is better qualified to teach him than his Maker? We hope that the writers understand how popular Godric has become and that they will include him in future episodes of the series in one way or another. We need a gentle vampire in a position of power on the show. Godric embodied compassion and kindess. Please, don't take that away from us.
