To:  Meath County Council, Meath Tourism, Fáilte Ireland, Meath GAA County Board, RTÉ Sport

(Irish version below)

In the event that the M3 Motorway is built next to the Hill of Tara, the ancient seat of Ireland's High Kings, County Meath should no longer be referred to as ‘The Royal County’, instead of that, ‘The Motorway County’ should be used.
I also call on Meath County Council to remove the symbol of the Crown from their crest and for the Meath GAA County Board to remove the symbol of the High King from it’s crest as well, if the M3 Motorway is built through the Tara-Skryne (Gowra) Valley, as is currently planned.

Sa chás go dtógtar Mótarbhealach an M3 in aice le Cnoc na Teamhrach, ionad ársa Ard Ríthe na hÉireann, níor cheart ‘An Contae Ríoga’ a ghlaoch ar Chontae na Mí a thuilleadh, agus in ionad sin ba ceart ‘Contae an Mhótarbhealaigh’ a úsáid.
Iarraim ar Chomhairle Chontae na Mí siombail an Chorónach a bhaint dá suaitheantas agus ar Bhord Chontae CLG na Mí siombail an Ard Rí a bhaint dá suaitheantas chomh maith, má thógtar Mótarbhealach an M3 trí Ghleann Gabhra, mar atá beartaithe faoi láthair.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
