On Novemeber 19th, 2006, Wal-Mart will not accept anymore layaways. Wal- Mart says they will not see a decrease in sales and will encourage more people to get their low interest credit cards . For families, Wal-Mart's layaway plan means satisfaction at Christmas, birthdays, and other gift-giving holidays& birthdays. There are a lot more people out there that, without layway, will not be able to afford buying Christmas presents at Wal-Mart. In fact, many shoppers who use Wal-Mart layaway will have to take their business elsewhere, where layaway plans are available. Let's all sign this petition and let Wal-Mart know how we want to keep the layaway program. And without it they WILL lose sales.
