This petition is to show support for who the fans want as the club captain for Tottenham Hotspur Football Club. We feel that because of the situation regarding Ledley King, he just cannot take an active role as club captain, and for this reason would like to propose Jonathan Woodgate, above others, to take over this role. The reasons for this are his secure position in the first team, his loyalty and his hard work for the club which he has shown since joining, and the leadership qualities he has shown.
We believe the input of the fans is critical to the success of the club, and hope our opinions are noted.
