once upon a time, a team of musicians...timbaland, and missy elliott changed the face of popular music as we all knew it.. they switched up the sound of a generation for r&b and hip hop. time wore on, and eventually the two felt like they needed to branch off.. in their absence however, less interesting, far more simple types of "music" took over.. timbaland has recently been quoted saying "Missy's too over-the-top for this hip-hop. It's a different era, it's not the same. Some of these songs that are out right now [are] songs that I know if we played two, three years ago, people would have laughed at us."...
