Smoking Rights be Brought Back to Pennsylvania |
To: Governer Edward Gene Rendell
We the undersigned wish to object to the recent bans of tobacco smoking within all enclosed workplaces in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We feel that it infringes upon every citizen's rights, from business owners to consumers. Owners of bars, restaurants, and the like know who they are trying to appeal to, both in seeking employees and customers. Because of this, it should not be the government's responsibility to decide for them. The recent ban of smoking contradicts what it means to be an American and a citizen in a free market economy.
We sign this, pledging our names for the sake of insisting that the no tolerance idea of the act be revoked. In place, private businesses should be given back their rights allow designated, separate smoking area's within the walls of their establishment.Sincerely,
