We, the future users of the Apple iPhone, living in Canada, would like to see the following options offered to us before the release of the iPhone 3G on July 11, 2008:

1.Provide the Canadian consumer with price plans comparable to the plans offered by AT&T to its customers.

2.Provide the Canadian consumer with option of having a contract periods of no more than 2 years; comparable to the one offered by AT&T. We would also like the option to buy the iPhone 3G for a reasonable fixed price.

3.Provide the Canadian consumer a real “Unlimited” data plan comparable to that currently being afford by AT&T to its customers. This is should be done at a price comparable to the one set by AT&T for iPhone 3G Unlimited data plan.

We, the consumers of Canada’s (Rogers’) only GSM based wireless network and services know that we are being offered the fewest options with some of the highest price plans world wide.

We also understand that later this year new GSM based cellular service providers or going to be available to us. We believe that Rogers’ continuing failure to hear us the consumers is going to negatively affect our current business – consumer relation with Rogers.

The options listed in this petition is going to help Rogers sell more iPhone subscriptions, bring more iPhone users online, make the iPhone more consumer-friendly, make it easier for Rogers stores to sell iPhones, and make it easier for people to switch from Bell/TELUS to Rogers. This benefits Rogers Canada, Rogers stores and representatives, and Rogers customers as a whole.
