Justice for Trinity Plaza Tenants |
To: San Francisco Planning CommissionWe, the undersigned members of the South of Market community and other concerned individuals demand justice for the Trinity Plaza Tenants, located in 1169 Market Street (at the corner of 8th and Market), in calling upon the owners of this property to abandon their unjust demolition plan.
Recently, we have learned that Angelo Sangiacomo and Trinity Management have filed plans at the Planning Department seeking the demolition of Trinity Plaza. In a letter to residents dated April 7th, only token relocation assistance was offered for over three hundred tenants, comprised of working people, seniors, immigrants, and families with children who call the Trinity Plaza home.
The planned demolition of the Trinity Plaza is an unjust act that will result in the displacement of our most vulnerable longtime tenants. By signing this petition, we stand in solidarity with the Trinity Plaza Tenants to send a clear message to the Trinity Developers: NO DEMOLITION! NO EVICTION!!
Sincerely,
The Justice for Trinity Plaza Tenants Petition to San Francisco Planning Commission was created by and written by Ivy Climacosa.
