Football Transfer Window Change

This is a petition to be sent to the FA to request that Fans have some form of input of common sense in our world of football before the money men completely ruin the entertainment and pleasure for us all.

This is to request consideration for the period of player registration transfers (currently July 1st to August 31st) be brought forward by one calendar month (to begin June 1st and end July 31st).

The reasoning behind this request is to enable a football club to have adequate time for preparation towards the new season without having the distractions of press comments, unprofessional players and also Managers tempting players away from clubs.

A Club would also have the benefit of registered players being fully focused on the club they are registered to, without further distraction in what may or may not happen towards the window closure.

The further benefit this brings would be towards the mental being of the player when approaching the international games that are generally held within the first two weeks of the new season. By that time the player would be settled in his club and not have further distraction.

I ask that the FA duly consider this request/petition with all seriousness so as to increase the pleasure of the supporting players who all pay a fair price towards funding this nation’s glorious sport (through either merchandise, or ticket prices).
