Paintball on TV

To:  ESPN and other sports networks

To fans and players of paintball everywhere,

Paintball is a fun and exciting sport. When played according to the rules, it is the safest sport around. However, because of the misinformed opinions of people who don't know anything about paintball, our sport is viewed as "violent".

Paintball is about more than just going out and shooting somebody. It promotes teamwork and friendly competition. Paintball is all about having a good time. Yes, there are people who will use paintball guns to purposely damage property and/or injure other people, but for every one person doing this there are many out there just going out on the weekend and having a good time with their friends. I think that if the general public was more informed on what paintball is and what it is about, then the public opinion about the sport would change.

One way I see of doing this is to start televising paintball events on the sports networks such as ESPN and ESPN2. This would be a great way to change the public's view about this very enjoyable sport.

So my request is to begin televising paintball events and give us paintball players a chance to show what we are really like. Thank you.
