Twins fans all over the world will hereby like to thank everyone for their support towards Ms Gillian Chung and Ms Charlene Choi.

It is defamation of the highest level when Easyfinder (一本便利), a Hong Kong-based magazine publication, issue 761, published semi-naked photos of Gillian Chung without her consent or knowledge. The magazine selfishly disregarded the disturbance caused to its readers. The offender is in fact committing an outrage of modesty. In other words, this act is no different from rape!

The reporter, photographer, editor of the magazine and the organizers of the concert are held accountable for this assault. Don’t the Mass Media have its professional ethics to adhere to? This, to our disgust, is not exhibited at all in this immoral outrage. The photographer is most liable for violating private rights of others as he has intentionally and surreptitiously photographed Ms Gillian Chung in an extremely offensive intrusive way. He is guilty of outraging the modesty of Ms Gillian Chung as he published the photos and made it easily accessible to others.

Tabloid media is treading on thin ice, when they disclose secrets of celebrities. They not only refuse to abide to any professionalism of any kind, they take pleasures to reveal secrets in exchange for higher sales and greater popularity. It is a shame that this is happening to a civilized society where human rights are respected. Tabloid media refuse not consider the feelings of the artistes involved, and what harm it will bring to them. There are many ways to boost the sales of a magazine, ethically, rather than having to hurt someone with pen and paper. We want to bring to attention to society, that such unscrupulous acts cannot be tolerated or condoned!

What is worse, the report itself is a misrepresentation of the truth! Ms Gillian Chung was in actual fact, changing in a designated changing room, and not in public, as reported by Easyfinder. It is also important to consider the social implications, when the magazine ignored the fact that juvenile readers can gain access to this magazine easily. Twins has always presented a healthy and youthful image to the public. It is their professionalism and positive working attitude that supporters and fans are proud of. What defamation to the healthy image of Ms Gillian Chung among fans this magazine has caused! Fans all over the world are now extremely distressed and upset by this misleading report.

How many more will be left hurt and agonized should we choose to undermine or disregard this? The next victim could be someone you care for! Prevent it from happening!!!! We need your support to get the message across to everyone. We cannot tolerate someone obtaining pleasure of fulfilling his unscrupulous goals at the expense of its victim being scarred for life. To these irresponsible parties involved, it may be just one week of high magazine sales, but to the victim, it is a lifetime of hurt. We must put a stop to this!

Moving forward, an Official Apology from Easyfinder to Miss Gillian Chung is all we ask.

Gillian, we want you to know; "Fans from all over the world will always be there to support you no matter what!!!"

2006年8月22日，「壹本便利」刊登出Twins的阿嬌在大馬演唱會後台換衣的報導，在消息爆發出來的當天，Twins全球的各大網站論壇已經出現許多憤慨的文章，我們身為TwinsFans自然替阿嬌感到氣憤和心疼，但是這件事已經不光光只是Fans要捍衛自己的偶像這麼簡單，藝人也是人，他們也有隱私和被尊重的權利，更何況阿嬌是一個女孩子，這篇報導除了標題內容用字不雅，甚至過份的刊登出偷拍的照片，已經嚴重影響到藝人的形象和身心，也違反了記者該有的新聞道德。

今天我們訴求的只是一個人應該得到的尊重，雖然說藝人每天在螢光幕上表演，鏡頭不斷跟著她們，但是這次報導已經不是平常的娛樂新聞了，拍攝照片以及刊登這項報導的人已經嚴重違反了職業操守跟自己的道德良心，試問在拍攝照片和決定刊登的當下，你們有沒有顧及到當事人的感受，有沒有想過這樣會如何傷害到一個人，這次是阿嬌，難保下一次還會有哪個藝人再受到這種傷害，我們只是想讓社會大眾知道它不是一則娛樂新聞，這篇報導已經不是給大家娛樂了，而是傷害到了藝人、違反了良心及侮辱了讀者。

我們現在所做的事並不是無理取鬧，而是希望即使是藝人也可以得到公平的待遇。

並 且 從 此 不 再 使 用 這 種 題 材 刊 登

藝人和媒體之間有著很密切的合作關係，但是這不代表藝人無權保有隱私、不代表媒體可以沒有底限的追蹤，難道就因為一次的銷售量就要破壞這種和平的關係嗎？消費者不是傻瓜，到了太過分的時候他們會出聲的，試問拍攝者及刊登者，如果角色調換過來，你們又會有什麼感受呢？會樂意這樣被人挖隱私、完全沒有私人空間的生活嗎？

鄭重聲明，我們這次訴求純粹基於合情、合理，並不是召急一群人胡亂謾罵，知道記者有時也有你們的辛苦你們的難處，我們不是從事這個行業，可能我們不了解，但是如今我們看到的卻是對人的傷害和不尊重，一篇不負責任的報導，傷害到的不只是當事者，更傷害到了她身邊的人、惹惱了關心她的人，在這麼多重的傷害後，一個回應一個誠心的道歉並不為過，身為消費者我們能做的只有這樣，衷心希望各位能聽到我們的聲音，還給藝人一個自由，也給讀者一個健康的閱讀品質，感激不盡。
