Diesel Spills

We the undersigned are deeply concerned about the complete and utter lack of responsibility shown by the operators of some lorry’s, vans and busses in allowing diesel to be spewed over the road.

This represents a complete and utter disregard to the safety of other road users, in particular motorcyclists. Diesel left on the road is the cause of countless deaths and injuries.

The Government has set targets to reduce the number of deaths on the road, a simple modification to diesel tanks could prevent a significant number of deaths.

It is time the Government introduced legislation to combat this ever increasing danger.
