Only adipose fin-clipped steelhead may be kept.
Proposed Rule:
No rule change is proposed. We support the existing rule requiring release of all non-adipose fin-clipped (wild) steelhead.
Purpose:
The intent of this petition is to show support for the existing catch and release regulations that protect non-adipose fin-clipped steelhead throughout the Umpqua system (including the mainstem, North, and South Umpqua Rivers).
