We are signing this petition to express our desire to use UMS on the YP-U3J line of portable audio players from Samsung.

UMS functionality is an absolute necessity for easy transferring of files without the aid of extra software as well as using the device cross-platform (on such systems as Linux, and MacOS).

Many people are being discouraged from purchasing this latest offering in the Yepp line because of this, but its predecessors could use UMS perfectly. Some firmwares of the YP-U3 already support UMS! With this in mind it shouldn't be too hard for a later firmware to offer this functionality again.

The YP-U3 is truly a fantastic product and it we could write all day about how great it is, but the lack of UMS is its Achilles heal.

Please add support for UMS on all YP-U3J models!
