Apology To The American People

To:  United States Senate

Whereas not one member of the United States Senate was willing to stand with their African American colleagues in the House of Representatives to sign their name to challenge the certification of George W Bush as president of the United States during the joint session of Congress following the presidential election of 2000, we call for a formal apology from each and every member of the United States Senate who held office on the day of that joint session of Congress in December of 2000.
