We the undersigned, Citizens of the United States, hereby take a stance that Women should Vote on Equal terms with Men, and ask that the Congress of these United States and the states pass an Amendment to that effect.

In making our demand for suffrage, we would call to your attention the fact that in the 20th Century women's roles in society and the work place has increased and they have achieved great stature in government, education, industry, sports, and the media.

We the undersigned feel it is time to end this vicious lack of representation in which women are governed without their consent, compelled to pay taxes without appeal, and punished for violations of law without choice of judge or juror. We ask that you sign this petition to show Congress the will of the people in this matter.
