We the people, of the United States of America, being of both the blue collar and white collar workforce, Do hereby DEMAND that the Government of the United States and Corporate America cease and desist the habitual pattern and on going pursuit of trading AMERICAN jobs for dollars overseas.
We have, for many many years, been a proud country that has had a reputation for perseverance, tenacity, and dedication to producing a product and rendering services second to none. But the time has come where hard working, honest, family citizens are having to fall back and only watch as their jobs are taken, their bank accounts drained, life savings spent for survival, their former factories and warehouses filled not with their fellow Americans, but with products from CHINA, JAPAN, MEXICO, and other points beyond our borders, all the while more decent peoples names are added to the rolls of UNEMPLOYMENT and WELFARE.
Mr. President, Senators, Congressmen, Corporate Officers, Trustee's, and Stockholders, We IMPLORE you to make right what is now wrong. We have a RIGHT to work in the United States of America for a Fair and Decent wage. We the People elect you and place you into your offices based on the expectation that you will not FAIL us in those positions, but yet and still, every day goes by with more and more container ships heading into our ports loaded with cheaply made products produced OVERSEAS and not by US. We charge that you HAVE FAILED us with your buying from, financing, and selling to, these overseas corporations and ignoring the people who USED to make the products and materials, but are now forced to restructure their lives in ways that you can ONLY imagine.
You have your safe, secure, financially stable positions. Some of you were placed there by those of us here in the trenches, others by your peers who are as stable as you are. We humbly beg, plead, DEMAND, that when, and ONLY when, there are NO MORE AMERICANS left to hire, should ANY company that is allowed to operate in the United States seek assistance and products from beyond her borders.
