Bring Shooting Stars to DVD

We, the undersigned, are all fans of the television series ‘Shooting Stars’ broadcast by the BBC. At the time of writing this petition (1st September, 2008), whole series’ of the television program ‘Shooting Stars’ are not available to purchase on DVD for personal viewing.

We would like all of the series of the TV show to become available for purchase and would gladly buy them when this happens. At the time of writing this petition, ‘Shooting Stars’ is currently available to watch on the TV channel ‘Challenge’, but due to Advertisement Breaks, episodes are cut by up to 10 minutes in length, which is a shame as it is almost 1/3 of the episode. We would like to watch entire episodes in all their glory, without cut material or advertisement breaks. If additional or previously unseen content could be included on such a product then this would also be greatly received.

We wish to be able to enjoy the conventional panel game ‘Shooting Stars’ and the surrealist humour of its hosts Vic Reeves and Bob Mortimer at our leisure.

Therefore we request that the BBC and other relevant bodies or parties take action to bring this fantastic TV show to DVD.
