Keep Veronica Mars on the Air

2007 UPDATE: This petition was originally written in November 2004, two months after Veronica Mars originally premiered on UPN. A lot has changed since then -- UPN and The WB have merged to become The CW, Veronica Mars has indeed been picked up for a second season, and even for most of a third season. However, two things have not changed: the show's quality, and the loyalty of its fans. "Veronica Mars" is STILL one of the best-written, best-acted shows on any TV network with Kristen Bell as one of the most promising new stars of her generation. Also, the fervor with which fans have consistently campaigned to save this inexplicably low-rated, yet intelligent show is a testament to how much its viewers value quality television. Thus, we the undersigned, request a fourth season of this remarkable show and further request that this show?s quality and the enjoyment it brings to its loyal legion of fans be taken into account when a renewal decision is made.

Veronica Mars has been getting consistently low ratings ever since its premiere. While some of the episodes have rated higher than others, it is still very much a low-rated show.

While it has been reported that UPN has ordered additional scripts (as of this writing), we, the undersigned, agree that it is never too early to show support for an entertaining, well-written, although low-rated show like Veronica Mars.

With this in mind, we, the undersigned, would love to continue to see Veronica Mars on the air and request that UPN give the show time to find its audience.
