Volvo Cars MOST external audio connector (ipod, sirius, XM)

Dear Volvo Cars,

Between 2004 and 2006 you produced and sold cars using a proprietary audio system using a technology called MOST. This system provides no means to connect an external audio source - iPod or other MP3 player, XM or Sirius satellite receiver, etc.

The only solution offered is an FM transmitter that provides inferior audio quality which does not work in large metropolitan areas.

This oversight was corrected in the 2007 model year but no solution was offered for previous years.

Because the MOST system is proprietary, third-party developers have found it impossible to provide solutions to this problem.

We, the owners of Volvo cars purchased during this time, respectively request that Volvo release a cost-effective solution to adding an external audio source to our car.
