VT Campus Bike Rack

With the rising cost of gas and parking, and increased environmental awareness, more and more members of the Virginia Tech community are choosing to bike rather than drive. As a result, many of the bike racks around campus are overloaded and constantly full at peak hours. In some cases, bikes are triple stacked against racks causing tangled locks and frustrated riders. Bikes are even being locked to lamp posts and trees. We, the undersigned members of the Virginia Tech community, believe that Virginia Tech should provide more bike racks in convenient locations for commuters and residents.
