Petition to Get E-Tailers to Promote W3C Browsers. |
To: Internet RetailersAs concerned web developpers and internet users, we believe it has become neccessary for the major E-Tailers of the net to take action against the sloppy coder from Redmond.
What we request, is that in the interest of a more secure, less spyware and virus ridden internet, where consumers can view sites how they were intended to be viewed, in Browsers that support the W3C standards, and can effectively deal with CSS, the major E-Tailers offer an incentive for web users to use W3C compliant browsers, such as Mozilla, FireFox, Opera, Safari, and others.
While this method will not punish those stuck with Internet Explorer, it will provide a visible incentive for people to take the time to download a Free browser that actually works, renders pages properly, and is less prone to the security issues that have plagued the sloppy coder's sloppy product from the beginning.Sincerely,
