Amending RCW 16.08.80 (9)

To:  Washington State Legislature

We the undersigned people of Washington hereby petition the Washington State Legislature to draft and pass an amendment to RCW16.08.80 (9) so that it reads in its entirety "Nothing in this section limits a local authority in placing additional restrictions upon owners of dangerous dogs. This section does not require a local authority to allow a dangerous dog within it's jurisdiction." (Amendment) No city or county shall prohibit, or restrict the ownership of dogs by breed. The state of Washington recognizes that dogs are valuable property.
