Senators Murray and Cantwell, please stick to your guns. Hillary Clinton is the most capable, qualified and prepared candidate for President of the United States. As a Senator, you represent Washington State. As a superdelegate, you represent yourself and your conscience.

You are both aware of Hillary Clinton's commitment to solving the problems we face: health care, energy, education. You have both worked with her on local and national issues. She has campaigned for both of you.

This is a historic moment. Don't squander it by playing political games. Don't be intimidated by voters who will have their voices heard at the convention in the form of pledged delegates. We respect you for your integrity; we will not respect political opportunism.

Hillary has the strength to beat McCain in November. Her plans are the most perceptive and her record is the most impressive. She needs - and she deserves - your support.
