MTV gone Bad

Dear Fellow Reformers,





With the sudden change in times, and the overwhelming bad taste in music that has struck our youth like a plaque, it’s easy to see that MTV has strayed from its original purpose. When you turn to either MTV or MTV2…there isn’t much difference anymore. You are bombarded with pointless dating games and the same reality show is playing, now just with a different name. I personally am sick of this! I wish I could turn to a special channel, like MTV Tr3s that is devoted solely to one thing. Why not make an MTV 4 or something that plays nothing but music videos, new and old, continuously all day? MTV no longer stands for the same thing it once did. To me it simply means, Maximum Tolerable Venal. What I mean by this is that MTV is obviously very easily bribed and goes for the artists that are no good but enjoy trying to Rap and/or sing. It makes me sick. We need to put an end to this. We need to demand for a better MTV and the only way to do that is to sign this petition and Speak Up for a MTV4. We’re trying to get as much support as possible. We also have a Myspace and soon codes and banners for you to put on your page or post in a bulletin to get more people involved!
