Wonder boy - The Movie

The script was written by someone very passionate about the Wonder Boy series. His name is Robin Morningstar and his work is known to Holly Valance from the comedy script Running Out Of Time. He is also known to some gamers already as the first person to write a Prince of Persia screenplay long before any studio acquired the film rights and left him in the cold. He is currently in negotiations to work on the new Star Trek series Star Trek: Protector.

Back to Wonder Boy. Director/producer Uwe Boll of Alone In The Dark, Bloodrayne, and House Of The Dead, wants to do it.As you read it you�fll remember scenes from all the games including the side stroller �gMonster Lair�h. There are some nice nods to the characters original caveman origins which are fun to spot. You will also find elements from the comic book series ran as a back up character in �gSonic The Comic�h. Set in Monster World you�fll discover how Shion becomes our hero and his quest with Tara to avenge her mother and save Monster World. It�fs not just a fight after fight adventure but a story in which you find out more about Shion and how our hero thinks and feels.

I�fve recently had the pleasure to read the script and gave my thoughts and advice before the final version was written. I�fm offering you the opportunity to download it for yourself to enjoy. It�fs currently going around to see if it can be made into a straight to home DVD by the author. It�fs expected to run for 70 minutes.The sticking point is that I�fm told is that Sega says there isn�ft enough interest in the series, that they have no intention of reviving it, so they won�ft release the rights. That sounds quite strange because the series was released for the PS2 in 2007 in Japan.

To prove to Sega that there is still a huge fan base out there we�fve decided to start a petition.
