Mr. Saad Ali (author of this petition) would like to confirm that Zarzora Expedition is not currently related to the project, in reference to their own statement (below) but I would still like to address the issue in general of Saving the Desert and stopping the constructions.

ZARZORA EXPEDITION IS NOT A PARTNER IN ANY PROJECTS WITH ITALIANS IN ANY DESERT OF EGYPT. PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE IS AN ITALIAN COMPANY DOING A PROJECT WITH AN EGYPTIAN COMPANY WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE GOVERNMENT

The New Valley Government has granted a land to Zarzora Expedition "The Desert Travel Company of Egypt" along with an Italian investor, 6 km away from the White Desert Protectorate in the Western Desert of Egypt by Jebel Kunna, where construction is being planned and tractors are already there digging the road.

Al Hayah Organization in Farafra Oasis and Desert Lovers Organization in Bahariya Oasis (both NGOs built to preserve the environment) are running this petition under the responsibility of Mr. Saad Ali Chairman of the NGO, to address the Ministry of Tourism to stop the construction and destroying the nature of the desert. Both NGOs are already in the process of extending the Protectorate area to include the area where the new constructions are taking place.
