We, the undersigned, urge you to support comprehensive, medically accurate sex education in Wisconsin public schools, which presents age appropriate instruction on human health and development, and promotes responsible, healthy decision-making behavior among Wisconsin youth.





Though abstinence is a key component of comprehensive sex education, research proves that the programs most effective at reducing and delaying teen sexual behavior include instruction on abstinence as well as on ways to prevent disease and pregnancy. Comprehensive programs give young people the tools they need to make healthy decisions and protect themselves against sexually transmitted infections and unintended pregnancy.





We support legislation requiring comprehensive, medically-accurate, age-appropriate sex education to be taught in Wisconsin’s public schools. Wisconsin youth deserve truthful, complete information regarding their health and development to ensure that they reach their fullest potential.
