Keep Disabled Gamer Friendly Controls in Videogames

To:  Nintendo of America, Nintendo of Japan

Nintendo, a well-known video game giant competing with Sony and Microsoft, released it's Wii gaming console first in November 2006 with motion controls before not used in video games. These controls have brought a new feel to video games, however, more times than not, they are very difficult, if not impossible, for physically disabled gamers with limited arm movement to use. In several titles there exists the option to use a Classic Controller or the older GameCube controller, however many games do not have these options when in several titles it makes sense to have them. Now, with the development of the more sophisticated Wii MotionPlus, this conflict with physically disabled gamers will worsen.

Just asking for the Classic control option in most titles, making sense to, released from this point forward and trying to prevent another company from following in Nintendo's footsteps and making gamers unable to play their favorite title series because they were forced to another console simply for the inability to lift their arms.

Please take an additional minute of your time, sign this petition and try to stop the likely unintentional discrimination against the physically disabled in the gaming community.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
