Wii Storage and Savespace

Dear Nintendo,
Space on the Wii has become a big problem. We are asking for a usable form of saving data(SD is to slow and games can't be played off of the cards). A HDD would be great but it isn't the only answer. We just want something that works and has more space for VC games, Wiiware and game downloadable content.
