Save Wisewood and Myers Grove Secondary Schools

We, the undersigned, do not agree with the proposals to merge Wisewood and Myers Grove schools.

• We are members of the communities affected and we do not accept the proposing group’s claim that it represents the feelings of those communities.

• We believe the two-school option – a rebuild of Myers Grove, with sixth-form provision, and a refurbishment of Wisewood – would serve the communities better than a single school at the Myers Grove site.

• We call on the Government to provide the funding for the two-school solution to keep open one of Sheffield’s most successful schools.
