FOX Animation Division Should Initiate Production of Wizards II by Ralph Bakshi

Concerning the film project Wizards II from the Writer / Director / Producer / Animator Ralph Bakshi.

It has come to our attention that a certain animation director at FOX broadcasting has passed, on multiple occasions, on the chance to give license to Mr. Bakshi to produce/direct this groundbreaking project.

Mr. Bakshi’s words regarding FOX and their willingness to produce Wizards II:
“…the man running their animation division who seems to have a lot to say has a problem doing ideas that aren't his baby. Wizards II as computer animation and straight animation would be a winner. But I can't get this guy to move on it. A petition or a lot of letters to everyone at FOX. might get it done like yu guys got the dvd out for me.”

With Mr. Bakshi’s continued support of this project and the willingness of Bakshi Productions to fully produce and supervise any secondary production that may occur after a director’s cut of the film has been finished,we, the undersigned feel very sure the production of Wizards II would be a mutually beneficial financial endeavor for FOX and Bakshi Productions.

The recent, rampant, success of other fantasy and animation film projects (i.e.: Lord of the Rings, by Peter Jackson and The Animatrix, by Larry and Andy Wachowshi alongside many talented animators), combined with the recent resurgence of Mr. Bakshi’s popularity among his older fans and among newer generations as well, should lead to the conclusion that Wizards II would be a feasible and socially applicable project.

To further the project feasibility points made above, Mr. Bakshi and Bakshi Productions are currently under production of a Graphic Novel that is, in essence, the storyboard for Wizards II. While this project is largely unknown at this time, we, the undersigned feel very confident that once it is advertised and the word is spread that a sequel to Wizards is at hand, fan support will be overwhelming for a film adaptation of what will be a poignant and awe inspiring tale. (Mr. Bakshi is known for the biting social commentary of his films)

It will benefit the world to see Mr. Bakshi allowed to self produce another of his fine socially driven films in the combined animation style he is so loved for pioneering. We, the undersigned hope you will be the catalyst for this worldwide benefit.
