Class Action Suit Against Activision Blizzard for Dangerous and Defective World of Warcraft Mice

We are purchasers of the Blizzard World of Warcraft Mouse and have encountered many problems with the product.

DEFECTS/PROBLEMS:

1) Mouse buttons that are faulty that stick or don't work out of the box (many buttons fail after a few days of use)
2) It gives an electric shock when used – THIS IS POTENTIALLY DANGEROUS
3) It does not work when plugged in
4) The software crashes our computers and does not save settings
5) The mouse is cheaply built (fake metal – its plastic) and brakes easily
6) Poorly designed and bad ergonomics
7) Many more problems – does not deliver on the promises

All the above problems have been documented in many emails to the customer support and Activision Blizzard is aware of the problems but still continues to ship the faulty mouse to customers! !

Numberous mice have been returned and the new replacements are also faulty. Blizzard is aware of this (including the danger of the electric shock to the users) and continues to rip off customers using the World of Warcraft name by continuing to ship replacements and asking users not to write bad reviews of the product. Many users have gone through 2 or 3 replacement mice – all with the same problems.

We feel that this is a cheap,dangerous mouse slapped on with a World of Warcraft logo to maximize profits from the trusting loyal World of Warcraft fans.

Also - the World of Warcraft mouse violates the very same terms of service that World of Warcraft has. (http://www.wemultibox.com/blogs/vyndree/steelseries-world-warcraft-mmo-mouse)

Many of these issues can be found in customer complaints that can be found in reviews at Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826249026),Best Buy and Amazon.com (Many of the reviewers of 5 star ratings there are first time reviewers with only one review – go figure)

Personal note from author: After I returned my 3rd mouse, I went out to get a Logitech G5. I never had a problem – it works as it should - this is how the WOW mouse should have been.

WE LOVE WOW BUT THE BLIZZARD WOW MOUSE IS EPIC PHAIL!

WHEN THIS REACHES 10,000 SIGNATURES, WE WILL ENGAGE AN ATTORNEY TO MOUNT A CLASS ACTION SUIT AGAINST ACTIVISION BLIZZARD TO STOP THEM FROM CONTINUING TO KNOWINGLY SHIP DEFECTIVE AND DANGEROUS PRODUCTS.
