PETITION TO REINSTATE BALTIMORE’S WQSR TO ITS PREVIOUS FORMAT &
TO REINSTATE ITS BROADCASTING PERSONNEL TO THEIR RESPECTIVE POSITIONS

We, the undersigned, represent ourselves as a “grass roots” group (WQSR Listeners) dedicated to petitioning all of those entities and / or individuals, to which this petition is, has been, or will be transmitted, to seriously, and in good faith, address the issue relative to the changes that were made to and for Baltimore Radio Station WQSR, 102.7 FM (WQSR) on Wednesday, May 04, 2005. IN SUMMARY, we respectfully request that WQSR, Infinity Broadcasting, Viacom Corporation, and all advertising sponsors institute an action necessary to return WQSR’s broadcasts to a reasonably similar format, as had existed prior to May 04, 2005, and to return all broadcasting personnel to their respective positions. In the event that these requests are not favorably honored, OUR COMMITMENT is to boycott all broadcasts produced by the media listed herein and to eliminate and / or avoid the purchase of all products and / or services offered / provided by the advertising sponsors thereof.

CAUSATIVE ACTION:

On May 04, 2005, at approximately 12:00 Noon, it is our understanding that many / most of the WQSR Broadcasting Personnel (DJ’s) were terminated, whereupon this station immediately changed its format from its historical “Oldies” to a new format known as “JACK”. This action allegedly took place with no prior warning or advice to the aforementioned DJ’s and without any prior warning or advice to the WQSR Listeners. These events, which appear to be completely unilateral and devoid of any apparent concern or regard for the subject DJ’s and / or the listening public, have been found to be unconscionable, blatant, and insulting by and to the WQSR Listeners. Since we realize, however, that Infinity Broadcasting Corporation (Infinity) and its affiliates have a right to make any changes that they wish, subject to compliance with all applicable Federal and State laws, the WQSR Listeners are left with only limited options that they may employ in an effort to make their opinions and wishes known to those entities and / or individuals, which / who possess the power and authority to correct what we firmly believe to be a grave injustice and a serious error in business strategy. Further, over the more than twenty (20) years during which WQSR conducted its “Oldies” format and as a result of the very talented staff of DJ’s, to include “Rouse & Company” (with emphasis), Johnny Dark, Bob Worthington, et al, the WQSR Listeners became a very large and supportive audience to what we hold to be a friendly, enjoyable, and assisting form of entertainment, to which we were all dedicated, on a daily basis, and which we all deeply miss since it has been taken from us. Contrary to corporate beliefs, these opinions will not change with time and the only result that will provide us any satisfaction is a reversal of Infinity’s decision, in this case, and a return to the previous format (perhaps expanded / improved) and reinstatement of WQSR’s previous DJ’s. We do, therefore, petition those specifically or generally named entities, groups of entities, and the individual representatives thereof, as follows:

INFINITY BROADCASTING CORPORATION:

To immediately, or as soon as possible within the near future, return WQSR 102.7 FM to its historical “Oldies” format and to reinstate those DJ’s, who have been severed, in just as timely a manner. Failure to favorably react to this petition will result in a continued and growing boycott of all Infinity stations, their affiliates, and their sponsors’ products and services.

VIACOM, INC:

To exert influence upon the management of Infinity, as its Parent Company, to have it fairly and reasonably address and rectify the very negative results that are and can be attributed to its decision and resultant action, on May 04, 2005, as is limitedly described herein. To cause Infinity to reinstate that WQSR format and those personnel, which well-served Baltimore and its surrounding area for many years. Failure to reasonably assist us in this dedicated venture will result in a continued and growing boycott of all Viacom stations, their affiliates, and their sponsors’ products and services.

SPONSORS OF INFINITY & VIACOM BROADCASTING MEDIA & AFFILIATES:

To exert influence upon the corporate management of Infinity and Viacom, as those that represent the largest sources of their consolidated corporate revenues, to have it fairly and reasonably address and rectify the very negative results that are and can be attributed to its decision and resultant action, on May 04, 2005, as is limitedly described herein. To cause Infinity and / or Viacom to reinstate that WQSR format and those personnel, which well-served Baltimore and its surrounding area for many years. Failure to reasonably assist us in this dedicated venture will result in a continued and growing boycott of all of your products and services.

Sincerely,

The Undersigned
